Our Heritage

Swedish Trading Company (STC) was established in Hong Kong 1913 as a representative office charged with handling China trade for Swedish Interests.

Over the years, STC grew substantially and in 1989 was restructured into a group of 12 companies (five overseas) under the holding company Swedish Trading International Holdings (STIH).

STIH is the parent holding company for the following Hong Kong SAR subsidiaries:

  • Swedish Trading Company Ltd

  • Controlled Medications Ltd

  • Swedish Bearing Services Ltd

STC is today a privately held equipment supply, engineering and marketing organization that partners with leading global companies to provide our clients with the latest innovative solution-based systems.

As one of the most established equipment supply and sales organizations in Hong Kong, the company has over the years developed extensive expertise in a variety of specialized fields.

These include a comprehensive range of Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Medical equipment, Hygiene & Laundry solutions, Commercial Refrigeration, Commercial catering and other specialized industrial and commercial Electro Mechanical solution-based systems.

Swedish Trading Company Ltd has successfully maintained and continues to develop its long-established Hong Kong and regional business and our main market sectors are with the Hong Kong SAR Government, Regional Hotels, Healthcare and medical markets, General buildings and mechanical contractors in Hong Kong, Macau and China.

Our quality system is not solely governed by the ISO standard, managing statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to our offered products/services are vital. Management is committed to programs of continuous improvement and enhancement of internal and external communications, in which all staff members are required to participate, the efficacy and methodology of our mission statement, quality policy and business objectives are continually reviewed and improved.
